Advocacy Efforts
Advocating for the tree fruit industry is focused on educating decision-makers about the impact of their public policy decisions, and helping them understand how the people and businesses in the agricultural industry will be impacted.
Columbia Gorge Fruit Growers’ advocacy work is not about partisan politics, nor is it about political candidates.
When decisions are made that will impact our ability to continue growing fruit and serving as an essential part of the local economy and global food chain, we cannot sit on the sidelines. Our goals are to identify solutions, find common ground, and remain committed to the communities and people we serve.
