ODA offers free collection events for proper pesticide disposal from agricultural and commercial applicators.

To register, download and complete the form HERE

** The application to attend must be submitted within one week of the scheduled event.

Residents of Sherman, Wasco and Hood River counties can participate in three waste pesticide collection events this fall.

  • Oct. 23, 2025: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hood River Transfer Station, 3440 Gulgnard Drive
  • Oct. 24, 2025: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wasco Event Center, 903 Barnett St.
  • Nov. 15, 2025: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Dalles Disposal Service, 1317 W First St.

Advocating for research-based agricultural policies.

Since its inception, Columbia Gorge Fruit Growers has invested in scientific studies to identify practices that benefit people and the environment, funded local migrant farmworker support programs and student scholarships, and provided educational opportunities for growers and farm employees to ensure safe workplaces.
